For our client – a leading industrial company (DAX 40) based in Munich – we are looking for a Senior Associate (f/​m/​d) M&A.

Respon­si­bi­li­ties

• For complex M&A projects (acqui­si­tions, divest­ments, or joint venture projects), you will work together with the project manager and take respon­si­bi­lity for selected project modules. you will contri­bute to the struc­tu­ring of transac­tions, conduct profi­ta­bi­lity analyses as well as company valua­tions in coordi­na­tion with the project manager
• You will be respon­sible for preparing well-struc­tured decision documents for complex matters
• Within the project modules, you will partly independently lead teams consi­sting of internal and external consul­tants on the respec­tive specia­list topic
• You will coordi­nate the imple­men­ta­tion of internal and external expert opinions and work out the effects on the decision parame­ters in a struc­tured manner
• You will parti­ci­pate in M&A negotia­tions and coordi­nate indivi­dual topics independently
• You will actively shape the development of our department’s processes and methods

Candidate Profile

• The basis is your successfully completed univer­sity degree in business admini­stra­tion and several years of knowledge and experi­ence in M&A or related areas (e.g. finance, invest­ment management/​controlling, strategy consulting)
• You have project experi­ence in an inter­na­tional environ­ment or abroad, as well as experi­ence working on complex projects
• You have a profound knowledge of funda­mental business analysis (business models incl. value drivers) and external accoun­ting
• You have a sound knowledge of business valuation and work in a result-oriented manner
• You convince us with a good under­stan­ding of numbers as well as strong analy­tical skills and are able to independently structure, prepare and present complex matters in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Power­point for senior manage­ment teams
• In your colla­bo­ra­tion with several inter­faces, you commu­ni­cate fluently in German and English
