For our client – a leading global pharmaceu­tical company (DAX 40) based in Hesse – we are looking for a Director (f/​m/​d) Strategy & Perfor­mance Manage­ment.

Respon­si­bi­li­ties

• Engage in defini­tion and codifi­ca­tion of Group strategy for the company
• Define and design strategy processes for the company, develop appro­priate formats and instru­ments, and coordi­nate the necessary stake­holder groups
• Manage strategic projects in connec­tion with the company‘s strategy at various business and functional levels
• Colla­bo­rate with business units and functional teams to drive strategic projects of high relevance
• Further develop the strategic business perfor­mance manage­ment system, accom­pa­nied by the design and imple­men­ta­tion of related processes
• Analysis and prepa­ra­tion of specific infor­ma­tion from various business units and market sources and transfer and prepa­ra­tion of infor­ma­tion into struc­tured reporting formats, e.g. for the manage­ment board or external stake­hol­ders

Requi­re­ments

• Successfully completed bachelor or master’s degree in business admini­stra­tion, economics, industrial enginee­ring or natural sciences
• Long-term profes­sional experi­ence in the field of strategy development, market intel­li­gence, business insights and perfor­mance manage­ment (prefer­ably in Corporate Development and/​or top manage­ment consul­tancy)
• Knowledge of life science and health­care sectors with a focus on e.g. generics, medical techno­logy and/​or health­care services will be a plus, ideally paired with an emerging network in the inter­na­tional area
• Familia­rity with relevant data sources and business perfor­mance KPIs along the health­care value chain and strong ability to think cross-function­ally and to build and maintain profes­sional relati­on­ships
• Experi­ence in coope­ra­ting with and managing profes­sional inter­faces
• Struc­tured way of working and strong analy­tical skills
• Very good language skills in German and English
